Great Friday afternoon with the boys! Wish I got a tenth of the enjoyment my dogs do about running. And for a $0.73 tennis ball, their hobby (neurotic obsession) is way cheaper than mine (also probably a neurotic obsession).

they just want to make the big leader two leg dog happy.

You can also entertain collies with shadows. We had a collie-lab mix (we think), so he’d retrieve stuff for about sixteen hours a day.

Trust me, I know about shadows and reflections. When we are in the car and my dog starts biting at the roof I realize that I forgot to take my watch off and the reflection from the sun is driving him crazy!

I taught my smarter BC to take my socks off and put them in the laundry basket. They love to please and are super smart. Smart does not always equal obedient though...they often know when they can disobey and get away with cuteness

Man, I wish my huskies liked playing with toys. They couldn’t give a shit about any toys I give them. More interested in seeing if they can bite each others necks without getting bitten back.

I have two springer spaniels and they don’t give one fuck about toys, they never have. They like to play with each other and steal socks/shoes from us.

a husky was my dream dog for literally 10 years but then my wife said “youre going to afghanistan, I get to pick the first dog because he’ll be living with me for a year and I want a black and white dog.” the rest is history and my love for border collies will never go away

that’s good they play together; I tell a lot of people that 2 dogs is really easier than one because they can entertain each other while we are at work

That’s exactly the way we thought of it, the crazy part is seeing which one is the dominant one out of the two. One dog leads and the other follows for the most part.

Is it the older dog? Our older one is definitely the leader, but they both enjoy humping each other every so often (despite being neutered years ago).

I always liked huskies, but I sort of fell into the first one because a dumb family member adopted her then wanted out because she thought the dog was depressed (she’s not) Adopted the 2nd one a year later. Weird breed, but they’re rad.

and without a doubt the most gorgeous breed (don’t tell my wife!)
have you ever heard of tamaskans? cool as hell, but don’t think I’ll be getting one anytime soon.

I hadn’t heard of those, but they look awesome. Though I already have enough issues with people freaking out about WOLVES on hiking trails.
If you want i can mail you an extra husky, I usually brush enough fur out of em to make a new one every month or so.

Lol to all (very sparingly do I type that). I have hardwood so a border collie puppy appears in the corner every week.

If I had a dog like that I would worry if it has some kind of mental illness and isnt comfortable unless it knows I am happy.
You got some cute dogs there and helpful too taking socks off after a hot day is a very underrated pleasure.

They are both relatively the same age, the leader is a few weeks older then the other one.
